“Following my wife’s stroke, we engaged in various methods/modalities of therapy all with some success. After hearing about NeuroMovement from a guest speaker in a caregivers’ support group, I did further research and decided it is something we wanted to try to help further my wife’s progress.
Two and half years after my wife’s stroke, we had our first visit for a NeuroMovement session. We started with a week of lessons and appreciated the gentleness of the approach. Even in that first week we experienced a difference in my wife’s speech, which had been severely affected by the stroke. The NeuroMovement lessons improved her speech including forming sentences and accessing and finding words.
Since our first visit, we have had three additional intensive weeks. Improvements in cognition, speech and movement, muscle tone and presence have been noticeable to people who are in regular contact with my wife.”
